Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
– Theodore Roosevelt
As we start off 2021 we are still working through the challenges of COVID-19, and so our first scheduled sketch and share session of the year will be held via Zoom. This quote from Theodore Roosevelt seemed fitting – do what you can… draw! sketch! create! With what you have… pencil, ink, watercolor, digital tablet, colored pencil. Where you are… in your studio, looking out your window, from your car if you feel like taking a drive somewhere. Then share it with the group!
Alternatively, if you have something in process and would like a critique session, feel free to share your work and get feedback from other Chapter members. This will be an informal gathering in which we can simply enjoy each others company and creativity the best way we can at the moment. Future sessions may be themed, or focus on a particular subject or some other way to challenge your creativity, but for the first one, we’ll keep it wide open.
