Mass Migrations Exhibiting Artists

Some of the Mass Migrations exhibiting artists – from left to right Sau-Mei Leung, Nancy Minniegerode, Carol Schwartz, Anthony Gerardi, Mark Lefkowitz, Frances Topping, Wendy Chadbourne and Tricia Cassady.

This exhibit migrated from Lakeville, MA to the Akillian Gallery located at the Massasoit Community College Canton Campus. The group photo and TV interview were taken during the Mass Migrations exhibit opening reception. Some of our members even spent a little time in front of a TV camera and discussed their work – you just never know what our Chapter is going to be up to next! Digital versions of the submitted artwork and the migration maps from the exhibit will be posted here soon.

This themed exhibit was designed to showcase migratory species which travel to or through New England on their yearly migration routes. The intent of the exhibit was to combine the artwork on exhibit with educational components of animal biographies and seasonal migration maps. The exhibit celebrates the diverse range of animals which visit New England all year long.

Many thanks to the volunteers who helped make this exhibit a success!
